SECOND ANNUAL THANKSGIVING DINNER TO BE HELD FOR READING SENIORS

BOSTON- Reading seniors are cordially invited to attend the second annual Thanksgiving dinner at the Hillview Country Club.
Dinner will be served at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 21st at the Hillview Country Club in North Reading. Entertainment will be provided by Sergeant Dan Clark, also known as the “singing trooper.” Doors open at 12:15
Various businesses and people around the area have made this year’s event possible including Comcast, Wal-Mart, Reading Cooperative Bank and Nelson Burbank. Representative and Mrs. Brad Jones, Jr., Senator Richard R. Tisei and Representative Jim Dwyer all look forward to kicking off the holiday season with a delicious meal and warm company.
In this season of giving all who are able are encouraged to bring appropriate items such as canned meats, canned fruits, or canned vegetables to help stock the Reading Food Pantry. The need this is year is greater than ever.
The dinner is free and open to all Reading residents over the age of 60. It is important to note, reservations are required and will be taken on a first-come, first-serve basis. For reservations or to arrange transportation, please call the Reading Senior Center at 781-942-6794 by November 18th.
